I love to create "different" pizzas with ingredients left in my refrigerator, I am always very careful not to waste food. And that's exactly how this pizza was born.
My family loves broccoli very much, especially with pasta, and I have them very often in the fridge.
So one night when I had no idea what to prepare for dinner, I opened the fridge and found broccoli and sausage. My little head immediately began to work and to wonder if by chance there was also a mozzarella ... yes there was also mozzarella !!!
These delicious ingredients have become the protagonists of a magnificent pizza.
My family and I loved it very much and that's why I'm here to share it with you friends!

Recipe
White Pizza with Broccoli and italian Sausage
Ingredients
- 300 gr. 0 or 00 flour
- 1 instant yeast for pizza
- 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
- salt
- 1 teaspoon malt alternativ sugar, 1 tsp
- 180 ml. water
For the stuffing:
- 1 broccoli
- 1 sausage
- 1 mozzarella
- chili to taste
Instructions
- Preheat Bring plenty of salted water to a boil.
- Clean the broccoli by removing the leaves. Divide the florets and wash them thoroughly. Remove the woodiest part of the stem and cut it into small pieces. Blanch the stems in boiling water first and after a couple of minutes add the florets.
- In the mixing bowl of the hand blender, put half the broccoli and reduce to cream.
- Cut the mozzarella into small pieces.
- Preheat the oven to 190 degrees.
- Put the flour in a bowl, then pour the water, yeast, oil and salt. Mix all the ingredients with a fork and then with your fingers until a rough dough is formed.
- Remove the dough from the bowl and knead for a few minutes on a lightly floured surface until the dough is smooth and elastic.
- Cover the pan with parchment paper.
- Take the dough again, and roll it out on a well-floured surface in an oval shape (or as you prefer) but ideal for the pan.
- Spread the broccoli puree, add salt and add the chili without abounding. Remove the sausage casing, break it into pieces and distribute it on the pizza. Add the previously cut mozzarella.
- Bake for about 30 minutes or until your pizza has a nice color.
- The pizza is ready, serve it hot!
